The Mobility Mistake Most Adults Make: Not taking a weekly yoga class.
Aging doesn't make us stiff. Stretching less does. Most people don't realize they're losing mobility until your regular activities start causing injuries, pain, or simply feeling harder. Your knee starts hurting when you run? Shoulder is tight when you wake up? One of the best things you can do for yourself at any age is start a weekly yoga class.
Yoga helps counteract the hours we spend sitting, lifting heavy weights, playing golf, working at computers, and carrying stress in our shoulders, neck, and hips. And perhaps most importantly, it teaches us to slow down and listen to our bodies before discomfort becomes pain.
Whether you're 35, 55, 75, or beyond, it is never too late to begin.
Not because you need to become a pretzel. But because getting down to the floor shouldn't require sound effects, strategic planning, and a nearby chair. Yoga helps keep our joints moving, our muscles supple, our balance steady, and our body capable of doing the things we love for years to come.
In fact, some of our most dedicated students started yoga with us later in life and are doing amazing!
If you've been thinking about starting a weekly yoga class, below are a few welcoming places to begin - our beginner yoga series. Every class offers modifications, encouragement, and space to explore at your own pace.
HOW TO START:
Choose one weekly class from our beginner series below, book it and begin your journey with that teacher. Send us a chat note with your phone number and the best time to call you if you need any help!
Introduce yourself to a teacher when you come in - let them know you're new, what your goals are, and any limitations, injuries, or concerns you may have. Then, simply keep showing up. Same time. Same place. Every week.
You might be surprised how much you learn - not only from the practice itself, but from developing a relationship with a teacher who gets to know your body, your strengths, and your challenges over time.
At Glow, our teachers are here to help you feel comfortable, supported, and successful. We want you to understand what you're doing, why you're doing it, and how to adapt the practice so it works for your body. Real progress doesn't come from doing a little bit of everything.
It comes from building a consistent practice and meaningful connection with the teacher guiding you along the way.
You do not need experience. You do not need flexibility. You simply need a willingness to begin.

• Weightlifting Fundamentals - fall in love with building strength safely using free weights
• Kettlebell Strength (Tue & Thur 4:30p, Sun 9:30a, Mon+Wed live from home 7:30a) - progress from fundamentals to continue building practical, full-body strength and confidence.
• Pilates Core (everyday on schedule)- Build deep core strength, improve posture, and support spinal health.
• Pilates Glutes (Mon 8a) - Strengthen the muscles that support your hips, knees, and low back.
• Barre Burn (Mon & Wed 5:30p, Sat 9:30a) - Improve balance, build muscle and bones, core strength and endurance.
