The Mobility Mistake Most Adults Make:
Not finding THEIR type of yoga class

Can I tell you a secret?

Aging doesn't make us stiff. But not stretching - does.

Most of us don't notice we're losing flexibility until our neck can't turn when we wake up. Our knee suddenly has opinions about stairs. Before we know it, stress shows up in a tight jaw, restless nights, and a mind that refuses to turn off. Squatting down comes with sound effects we don't remember signing up for. One of the best things we can do for aging well is to finally pick up weekly yoga class.

But not any yoga class. Many of us have tried yoga classes that simply weren't the best fit for our current needs. How do we know? Because they didn't stick.

I'm talking about approachable yoga, with no pressure to keep up with the impossibly bendy person next to you. The kind where the teacher knows your name. The kind where nobody cares if you can't touch your toes. The kind that helps counteract the hours you spend sitting, lifting heavy weights, hopping around Pilates classes, playing tennis and golf, parenting and carrying stress in our shoulders, neck, and hips. And perhaps most importantly, to teach you to slow down and listen to our bodies before the stiffness becomes pain.

And the best scientific fact? Just one yoga class per week is enough to maintain flexibility, mobility, balance, and peace of mind.

Whether you're 35, 55, 75, now is a perfect time to join us. In fact, some of our most dedicated students started yoga with us later in life and are doing amazing!

Please join our Beginner-Friendly Yoga Program. Every class below offers modifications, encouragement, and space to explore at your own pace. Find a class that will meet you exactly where you are today - not where you were ten years ago.

ABC OF SUSTAINABLE YOGA PRACTICE:

A. Choose one weekly class from our beginner series below, book it and begin your journey with that teacher. Send us a chat note with your phone number and the best time to call you if you need any help!

B. Be known. Introduce yourself to a teacher when you come in -  let them know you're new, what your goals are, and any limitations, injuries, or concerns you may have.

C. Consistency. Simply keep showing up. Same time. Same place. Every week. And I promise you that you will grow so much more than you expect - not only from the practice itself, but from developing a relationship with the teachers who get to know your body, your strengths, and your challenges over time.

At Glow, our highly skilled and caring team are here to help you feel comfortable, supported, and successful. We want you to understand what you're doing, why you're doing it, and how to adapt the practice so it works for your body. Real progress comes from building a consistent practice and meaningful connection with the teachers guiding you along the way.

You do not need experience. You do not need flexibility. You simply need a willingness to move without squeaking.

Sending you and your family love, wellbeing, and peace,

Glow Team
